We are happy to kick off our summer tour on our first stop in the Netherlands next week!
Come find us Saturday the 22.06 in Harderwijk at the Staattheaterfestival Strabant.

We are performing at 15:30 and 20:00 at Vischmarkt.

We’re excited to announce our summer dates, taking us on a journey through Europe to many wonderful festivals.

As sustainable travel is an important part of our collective's concept, we are choosing trains over planes to reduce our carbon footprint. 🚂💚

We’re starting our tour at the Strabant Festival in Harderwijk, then heading to the Bondoró Festival at Balaton Lake. After that, it’s a night train to Stuttgart to Circuleum. 🚄🌿

Next, we’ll be taking the Eurostar to the UK as part of the Take Art tour, which supports bringing art to rural places in England. We'll be performing in various towns across Somerset, Devon, and Gloucester. In August, we’ll be performing in southern Germany, Graz, and Vienna. 🇦🇹

✨May marked our first performances of the season!
Great to have been on tour again in Lustenau @freudenhaus_lustenau and Munich @munich_circus_arts .
Caravan e.V. was celebrating 30 years of cultural artistic work and bringing contemporary circus to rural places in the Freudenhaus since 20 years.
They do great work for the circus scene of Austria making political pressure for more cultural funding!
At their anniversary celebration, we had fun experimenting with our final scene placing some tricks amongst the audience.

Finally in our 5th year of ConTakt we brought out show to Yasmine's home town Munich and were hosted by her and her partner's families.
On the last day we gave a workshop for the children and young adults of the Sporttheater München, where Yasmine's inspiration for circus formed her as a child.

These performances also marked the first showing of our revised version of "Foley" and first shows with Josh and Cloé!

🎪 Exciting News! Introducing our dynamic duo,

🎪 Exciting News! Introducing our dynamic duo, Cloé Matter and Joschua Golaszewski @josh_and_cloe , to the heart of our circus collective! 🌟

Cloé, a former sports acrobat, brings her expertise from completing studies at the professional circus school INAC in Portugal. As a skilled flyer, she seamlessly merges physical theatre and acrobatics in her captivating performances. Cloé has been performing as a duo with Josh and contributing her talents to Cie Black Stroller, and Cie XY in "Les Voyages". You may have already seen her perform with us in 2022 in Imaginarius Festival in Portugal. There she jumped in and learned the show in one day, when lily was sick.

Meanwhile, meet Joschua, who, after a decade of mastering various martial arts, discovered his love for circus arts in 2017. A member of the National Team for Sports Acrobatics in Switzerland and a proud graduate of the Professional Circus School INAC in 2022, Josh is a force to be reckoned with. The Duo @josh_and_cloe developed their show "Dual" which combines theatre, circus and martial arts addressing the binarization in society. Beyond the circus ring, Josh brings a passion for physical theatre and a talent for music mixing.

After over 3 incredible years with the ConTakt collective, we bid a fond goodbye to Kerstin. 🎭 Her invaluable contributions ranged from securing funding for performances to keeping our creative residencies on track. Not just an organizational wizard, Kerstin also dazzled us with her creative brilliance—sewing our outdoor costumes, facilitating acrobatic transitions, and even taking on the role of the smallest base when needed.

As she embarks on new adventures, we thank Kerstin for her dedication and wish her the very best in launching herself into exciting projects! 🚀✨

Some say, that the party was born here. 🥳
But nonetheless, we performed two shows for Programators, cultural organizers, other Artists and the general public surrounded by the castle garden.
.
And it was hoooot, we were challenged to playing mid day under the unusually bright September sun. Happy that no rain canceled our show, as last week we were slipping from the rain and now we be slipping from sweat.
.
Made nice connections with colleagues and friends and enjoyed this little adventure together. ✨
.
This was our last show of the summer season and we are looking forwards to where this collective journey will take us next year!

The energy of the incredible audience has carried us through this summer starting in Romania @fitsibiu, going on to Berlin @kindermusiktheater_berlin and now at @spoffin in the Netherlands.

Not even rain could prevent them from coming in hundreds: The audience better prepared with umbrellas than us. Luckily we only had to stop one show @spoffin due to the rain after a few minutes.

Thank you for all the support, smiles, laughter, emotions and noises: You are the life of this show.

Sleepertraining, little handstand training, ready to start the journey!

As an international collective travelling is one of the biggest and most complex logistical challenges we have to overcome. Especially if you also choose to reduce environmental impact to a minimum.

This time we were very lucky to be able to take some sleeper trains. Now we just have to get rid of the border between Rumania and Hungary and we could have a good nights sleep.

@fitsibiu taking us to new hights!

If you are ever in Romania during June/July you should definatley go to Sibiu (Hermannstadt)! 10 days of theatre, circus, dance and culture taking over the entire city. And all the inhabitants join in the fun: A city in state of cultural explosion.

We are so grateful we could be part of this. Finally we felt like we have arrived, that all our hard work and energy, which we put into this project for 3 years has found appreciation, honour and wonderful company.

Meet the newest ConTakt member Josh:

Berlin based, multitalented floor and partneracrobat Joshua Frazer. We have lost track of how many circus projects and collectives he has been a part of since he graduated from the National Centre for Circus Arts in London. That makes us even prouder and very happy that he made space in his tight schedule to join us.

Combining beautiful floor work, crazy tumbling, a beautiful voice and a lot of laughter to the team.
